Οι Muse παρουσίασαν το νέο τους video για το single “Aftermath” το οποίο περιλαμβάνεται στο άλμπουμ “Drones” που κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιούνιο του 2015. (πληροφορίες για το άλμπουμ στο σύνδεσμο εδώ)
Το video του “Aftermath” είναι μια δημιουργία του Ιάπωνα σκηνοθέτη & δημιουργού video-games Katsuhiro Harada γνωστό ως Tekken, ο οποίος έχει συνεργαστεί ξανά στο παρελθόν με τους Muse στα τραγούδια “Follow Me” και “Exogenesis: Symphony Part 3 (Redemption)”.
Στο video παρακολουθούμε μέσα από τις εναλλαγές των κινουμένων σχεδίων να ξεδιπλώνεται η ιστορία ενός στρατιώτη που αποχωρίζεται την οικογένειά του. Αν και το θέμα του άλμπουμ “Drones” είναι ο πόλεμος κι ο απανθρωπισμός που επιφέρει, το “Aftermath” είναι ένα τραγούδι αγάπης-όπως αναφέρει ο δημιουργός του, συνθέτης & τραγουδιστής των Muse, Matt Bellamy. Ο ήρωας του τραγουδιού ξανακερδίζει την πίστη του στον άνθρωπο και στην αγάπη και γι αυτό το λόγο το “Aftermath” συγκρίνεται με το τραγούδι των U2 “One”.
Οι Muse συνεχίζουν την παγκόσμια περιοδεία τους που ξεκίνησε το 2015 και θα βρίσκονται στην Αθήνα στις 23 Ιουλίου του 2016 στο Eject Festival.
